We love this space because it proves a room can be both glam and low-key at the same time. The key to creating this balance is by paring elevated glam materials, velvet, gold, fur, with more simplistic contemporary shapes. Voila, you have the perfect glam space to kick back in.
The bold use of red in this office is so energized and excited it's sure to wake you up more than any cup of coffee. To break up the space and keep it from feeling to intense we broke up the red with light woven textures making the space feel welcome as well as inlivingning.
If you’re in a small studio apartment, look for a sofa that matches the scale of your space. Many furniture brands offer “apartment” sizes of their furniture designs. These sofas pack a ton of style into compact frames, so they fit even the smallest spaces — like the Holloway Apartment Sofa by Joybird. Pair it with multi-functional pieces like this storage ottoman, which can go from a coffee table to an extra seat, along with offering some added storage!
Comfort was a key factor in design this mid-century boho living room. to create an arrangement that amplifies comfort, we opted for two facing sofas that supply plenty of seating for family and guests. We also chose darker fabrics for the sofas and bench to ensure the room is both kid- and pet-friendly.
In order to conjure the casual vibe that’s often found in California bedrooms, we created this space that’s filled with luxurious neutrals and textures. To get the look for yourself, try adding plush seating, nubby textures, and a bed so comfortable you never want to leave to your space.
Unfussy and rooted in comfort, and suffused with light this living room is filled with beachy accents, organic touches, and rustic elements that emphasize relaxed living (think seagrass-wrapped chairs, stone tables, and a hefty chandelier).
