Create Contrast with Dark Walls

It may seem counterintuitive to use dark walls with dark jewel tones, but selecting the right furniture and accessories can turn the room from dungeon to dreamy. In this space, we selected light-colored furniture and a bright rug to off-set the dark colors. By adding bold brass accessories and a colorful work of art above the bed, this room is just dark enough to make you want to crawl under the covers with a good book!
