Contrast and the lack thereof plays the starring role in this neutral version of our industrial bedroom. We draw the eye of the viewer with deliberate high contrast to important focal points such as the white artwork placed on the deep charcoal walls, and we let other pieces become supporting actors by diminishing the contrast - such as the deep grey bedding and black leather headboard that blend with that same wall color. This allows the eye to rest as it travels the room and is a design staple for creating a principal and secondary focal points throughout the space.
