If you want to reinvent your home office space to optimize efficiencies, you may want to pair the layout down to a few fundamental pieces. We stuck with a simple desk, a comfy and practical chair, and some closed storage in this space. Now we have everything neatly organized and easy to find with no unnecessary knick-knacks cluttering the room (or our minds). Just make sure that when you go this minimal to pick pieces with strong silhouettes to keep things from feeling boring.
Schrute Farms is an 18th Century beet farm, so Dwight would nonetheless be decorating with farm-inspired decor...like rusty metal gears. He would also have nods to all things he loved..like the Dundies Awards, and his cousin Mose of course.
Industrial style and Amercana are truly a match made in style heaven as you can see from this bold living room design. It's no wonder that the two pair so well seeing as how so much of what we perceive as being uniquely American came out of industrial manufacturing which influences the style movement.
The bold use of red in this office is so energized and excited it's sure to wake you up more than any cup of coffee. To break up the space and keep it from feeling to intense we broke up the red with light woven textures making the space feel welcome as well as inlivingning.
We love the way the neutral color palette in this living space highlights the architecture of the space. By sticking to subtle earth-tones and crisp shades of white we are able to draw attention to and not distract from the lovely details of the room such as the arched built-ins and fireplace.
An eclectic mix of modern and boho elements come together in this bedroom. Splashed with jewel tones in the rug, art, and upholstery, the crisp white background comes alive highlighting boho details. With these details in focus, a warm and inviting bedroom results.
