Kid-friendly Pattern Mixing

There are a couple of tricks to pattern mixing. The first is to mix smaller scale patterns with larger ones. The second is to mix straight and curved lines--stripes with spots, or triangles with round wedges like in this living room. This makes an excellent space for the kids to be in.
