The Beauty of Symmetry

If you love unique pieces but want to keep your space from feeling too eclectic, rely on a bit of symmetry while decorating. In this living room, we used both a patterned rug and a coffee table featuring a modern Moroccan print. So, to ground the space, we established some symmetry behind the couch, with a linear gallery of art prints, anchored on each side by matching bookcases. The result is a space that’s balanced but visually interesting.
