Painting depicts an abstract trek through the rock formations of Antelope Canyon, AZ. Artist Patrick St. Germain layered acrylic paint, watercolor and gold leaf to capture the spiraling walls and light shafts of the slot canyon. A modern nod to the abstract expressionism movement of the '40s and '50s. Patrick St. Germain. Montreal-based artist who works mostly with acrylic paint, resin, metallics and pastels.
