Joining together geometric shapes, graphic stripes and judicious strokes of color, Alyson Khan creates a complex yet harmoniously balanced composition. Unembellished shapes and painterly passages combine in a dynamic abstraction suggestive of fragmented video feeds and digital devices. Our giclée print on watercolor paper brilliantly captures the careful line work and abundant texture of the original acrylic painting. Mounted on foam board, the work floats in a maple frame. Alyson Khan creates works inspired by mid-century design, Art Deco and tribal objects.
