Like layers of sediment, this rhythmic composition by Daniel Barreto flows rivers of primary colors and earthy neutrals in strata of matte tones and speckled texture. From learning watercolor techniques from his grandfather to photographing backyard birds with a camera gifted by his father, Daniel Barreto grew up surrounded by a family steeped in and supportive of the arts.
