Overview

Artist Beverly Fuller often incorporates gold foil and gilding into her work. In this painting, she created an abstracted still life that's centered by an oval, pear-like shape outlined in gold. Warm yellow, umber and grey tones lend a sense of modeling and dimension to the form that stands out against a background of white and deep blue. All the rich color and subtle tonal range of the original acrylic painting is captured as a giclée print on acid-free paper. Displayed with a single floating mat, the print is presented in a matte black wood frame under glass. Beverly Fuller holds a bachelor of arts degree from Whittier College and a master of arts from California State University in Los Angeles. After completing her education, she engaged in a creative journey around the U.S. that inspired her to become a full-time painter.
