Overview

Suggestive of a forest coming to life during the first blush of spring, Andrea Pramuk's painting introduces soft color into the pastel stillness of her ethereal landscape. Working in watercolor, ink, pencil, oil paint and wax she depicts a stand of trees that emerge from abstraction, glazed with a transparent veil of white. This giclée reproduction of the original mixed-media work captures the distinct character of materials and expressive brushwork of the original. Printed on canvas, each print is hand-embellished and presented in a brushed gold wood frame. Andrea Pramuk earned a bachelor's degree in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute and a master of fine arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
