Overview
I love film photography. Film is such a natural way to represent the everyday in art form. The grain that shows in film prints adds so much life to the image. This photograph was taken on my film camera while visiting the Met in NYC. The Egypt room is my favorite room there! The light is amazing! This sphinx sat so stoically against the vast yet simple backdrop of the marble wall. I can only imagine all that this sphinx has seen through its life in Egypt and at the Met.
