Overview
I shot this image first thing in the morning following two days of summer rain in rural New York. I was visiting my sister who lives in a suburb of Rochester. Coming from California, everything felt so rich and green and the parks all seemed to have forests in them--the opposite of what I am used to. The rain hadn't quite decided to let go, misting gentle ripples across the pond. So quiet, so peaceful.
