Overview

Allowing shades of brown, green and blue watercolor to bleed and combine, artist Norman Wyatt Jr. creates a riverside panorama, reserving patches of the original white of the paper to form a meandering river. Printed on cotton rag paper with a tea-stained, irregular edge, this exquisite reproduction was made with inks that replicate the subtle tones of the original painting. Signed by the artist, the print is framed in smoke-finished wood under glass. Norman Wyatt Jr. turned to teaching after graduating with a B.A. in visual communication, art and design from Virginia State University.
